Flaming Lantern in Butler

First time here. Friendly service! I had the hot tenderloin....it was delicious. Kids had chijen strips that were just right.

Really like the food here. Staff is friendly and the place is always clean. Burgers are delicious and the open face beef is quite good.

Got a cowboy burger, fries and a coke. Delicious. Great food and service.Have been there many more times. Love the ribeye medium rare or a medium steak sandwich. Amazing place!

Good comfort food! Love the open faced hot beef. Tacos on Tuesday were good Also, the Hawaiian chicken and the grilled pit ham. I do recommend eating in, portions are about half the size on carry out.

Looked at online menu. Decided to make 25 mile trip for wings. Set down to order and was told wings are only Wednesday. Online menu didn't say that.

solid homie environment diner experience and the bar on the other side is super cool great crowd and very laid-back a bonus was, and I hope I don't blow up their spots they let you vape and smoke cigarettes there which is a plus coming from New York. Prices are extraordinary amazing, Maker's Mark is five bucks dope!

I stopped at the Flaming Lantern today while I was passing through town. What I found is a great place to eat! The selection of items is big, without being too overwhelming. The food was good, the staff are very friendly. Some of the furniture is worn, but all in all, I would recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in the area.

The service was good. The chicken fried chicken was smothered in gravy Soo it taste like that. I only mention this because my son had his gallbladder removed and isn't able to handle grease, the chicken was dripping. It was a solid piece of breast tho.

We had a family dinner & staff was awesome. The rib eye was delicious .

The place is just NOT worth the money!!!! For goodness sake just go to Texas Roadhouse if you want a real steak!!! I haven't ever had bad food at Texas Roadhouse. Flaming lantern is just horrible.

I've eaten lunch twice here and enjoyed on both visits a huge tenderloin sandwich and onion petals. This is a good value and service is friendly. If one is traveling, this restaurant is conveniently located just off 49 highway.

Good place to eat. We had Sunday special of baked ham and scalloped potatoes. Lots for the price. Highly recommend this place.

The food was great. I ordered the plate special for the day, the Salisbury Steak with potatoes and gravy, complete with farm fresh cut sweet corn and homemade rolls.

Food was okay, the bar allows smoking. And the hours on sunday are bad if you are tying to watch football.

The food was really good, like really, really good. The pulled pork was delicious!! My husband had the Cowboy burger and left a big tip because he enjoyed it so much. The lettuce on the salad bar was a little wilted, but everything else on the salad bar was on point. And we were happy with the price given the quality and quantity of the food.

The salad needs an update was from 1960, I couldn't eat it.

I tried the cowboy hamburger because it was different, has cheese, fried onions, and BBQ sauce; very tasty. My husband enjoyed his open faced roast beef and mashed potatoes. Service was good. Just don't look up; ornamental wooden trim has more dust than my house.

Good services and good food

Hawaiian chicken with fries was outstanding . Coconut pie was excellent too. Megan the waitress refilled our drinks often, was very polite and kind. Quick clean up when a table was empty. Prices were very affordable. Our first trip here and would highly recommend.

Went for breakfast were seated by 10:50 was told breakfast was over but their info says till 11:00 am. Got cheese burger. Was not a slice of cheese looked like cheese spread. Fries are not hand cut anymore. Mashed potatoes were instant Service was great.
